We are proud to officially welcome the Baltimore Lions to the WBDA!

'The Baltimore Lions are not just a team, but a FAMILY! The Baltimore Lions stem from the Back River Lady Lions youth org, which was founded in 1997. Women who played on previous teams for the Lady Lions decided to make a semi-pro team to help other women in the city that are still athletic and passionate about the game. The Lions have a dream, and it’s a big one! OUR mission is to provide live sports entertainment that features strong role models for Baltimore youth to look up to, also to strengthen each member’s individual athletic ability, self- discipline and character and to improve the community as a whole. The core purpose of our organization is to share our knowledge and experience that we gained through our participation in AAU, high school, college, and professional careers to encourage, support, and inspire OUR Baltimore City youth." -Lesha Bell (team owner)
