Welcome Phoenix Lady Elite 1's!

We are proud to officially welcome the Phoenix Lady Elite 1's to the WBDA!

The Lady Elite 1’s team originated in Toronto, Canada and first participated in the Women’s Blue Chips Basketball League in 2010. "Our mission is to create opportunities for female athletes to play competitively beyond college/university. We are the 2018 WBCBL West Coast Regional Champions and we are continuing to grow as a top performing women's basketball program, which can attract top athletes that can compete at the highest levels." -Wayne Dawkins (Team Owner)

The Lady Elite 1's has featured many past professionals, including Stephany Skrba, Tamara Tatham, Tashawna Higgins, Wumi Agunbiade and current professionals Brianna Gray and Megan Mullings. The team also had the honor of featuring two Canadian Olympians, Alisha and Tamara Tatham. With the transition to Phoenix, Arizona we hope to continue highlighting local women’s basketball players as leaders and role models in our new community.
