We are proud to officially welcome the TC Queen Elite to the WBDA!
The Elite is based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota even though they will represent the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
The TC Queen Elite is also owned by Tamara Moore, a former WNBA player!
Tamara Moore was born & raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 11th 1980. She was a standout high school basketball player at Minneapolis North High School were she helped lead the Lady Polars to the 1998 State Championship and Won the Ms. Basketball Award. She was named to the 1998 Nike All-American Top 20 Game. Tamara accepted a full ride scholarship to the University of Wisconsin Madison were she helped lead the Badgers to the 2000 WNIT Championship and was named the 2000 WNIT MVP. In 2016, Tamara was named to the WNIT All-Time Top 20 Tournament Team. She finished her career as a 1600+ scorer & All Time Leader in Assist & Steals (records still hold) in 2017 She was inducted into the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame. Tamara was drafted with the 15th overall pick to play in the WNBA for 6 seasons with teams including: Miami Sol, Minnesota Lynx, New York Liberty, Phoenix Mercury, Los Angeles Sparks and Houston Comets. She also played 6 seasons overseas in Israel & France. Tamara is currently the Owner of a Semi Pro Mens Team called TC Elite Basketball and TC Queen Elite She is also the Head Coach. Tamara has coached high school basketball for 5 Seasons (Head Coaching Prairie Seeds Academy and Minnesota Transitions) & (Assistant Coaching Minneapolis Edison & Bloomington Jefferson). Tamara has previously owned 2 other semi pro teams under the name Minnesota Flame which showcased a Men’s & Women’s Team. Tamara served as Head Coach for both teams. Tamara is currently competing in the new Global Mixed Gender Summer League owned by Mogul Master P. She has competed in 2 Global Mixed Gender Games with (Washington Fusion & Chicago Vikings). Tamara has a strong passion for the community and loves to give back. She is very involved in the youth and has started programs including Ladies First Girls Group and Lady Hoopers Basketball Academy. Tamara looks forward to moving into the coaching & business side of Basketball as her professional playing career winds down. She also has stepped into the radio & commentating area were she has taken on roles such as radio personality & game announcer. Tamara has hosted numerous camps, clinics, skills academy & training programs. Tamara was a finalist for a college coaching positions at University of Loyola-Chicago under Sheryl Swoopes. Tamara served as skills trainer for the Concordia University at St. Paul were she served as summer skills development coach. Tamara served as volunteer assistant in 2013-2014 season for University of Wisconsin under Bobbie Kelsey. Tamara has worked numerous NBA & WNBA camps including Alan Anderson, Karl Anthony Towns & Khalid El-Amin’s Camps.
